01 — What pastewire is

A free tool for moving text and files between your own devices. Use it as a guest with a 6-character session code, or log in for a private clipboard tied to your account.

02 — Guest sessions are public

A session code is a sharing convenience, not a password. Anyone who has it — or guesses it — can read and edit that session. Don’t put anything in a guest session you wouldn’t post in an unlisted paste. Log in if you need real privacy.

03 — What you may not do

No illegal content, no malware, no material you don’t have the right to share, and no automated hammering of the service. Uploads are capped at one attachment and 20,000 characters of text per clipboard.

04 — No guarantees

pastewire is provided as-is, with no warranty and no uptime promise. It’s not a backup service — keep your own copy of anything you care about. Content may be removed at any time, and sessions may be cleared without notice.

05 — Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top tells you when they last did. Continuing to use pastewire means you’re fine with the current version.
